Matthew Lento + Shoot Out

I had a chance to photograph Matt before he left the great parts of Raleigh, NC for the big ole city of NYC! He wanted to put together some shots for his modeling portfolio, and I wanted to take the challenge! It was great working with Matt, he was a natural and made it so easy for me. I tend to not shoot a lot of guys unless you are a groom or a father!

Ryan. . .Three months

So I am way late blogging these pictures but it is a must! Jamie has joined the Army and we are getting ready to move at the end of the month. He leaves May 5th for basic training, and Ryan and I are heading up north to stay with my sister and family. Ryan keeps me busy, but he has been such a precious little man in our lives. We are so thankful for our little blessing!

I really should have done this one when he was new, but I didn't get around to it until he was four weeks! He didn't care for it too much! Poor baby!

This one is at 8 weeks old, he is just the sweetest little boy.

He was getting sleepy. . .

So I have been so behind on pictures, but I am finally back to the routine of work and mommy. It will keep a lady busy working and taking care of the little ones. But I love it! This week he will be 3 months, I can't believe it! I am working up ideas for his three month old pictures. He is so much fun to dress up and take pictures of. He is getting so much personality, full of smiles and giggles, I am sure you will see that in his 3 month old pictures!

Ryan Michael Benson

November 5Th at 7:54 a.m. Ryan Michael Benson joined our family a few weeks early! I would have to say everyone tells you, there is nothing like having your own child, and you always nod, thinking yeah your probably right. But no one can truly prepare you for the emotions that overflow when you first see your own child and hear him cry. God is amazing to give us such a gift! We have a healthy baby boy that weighed 6 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19 in. long!

I have taken a few pictures, but of course not nearly all the ones I want to take! It is SO much harder being the mom and the photographer! Our first shoot went a little something like this...

First I fed Ryan till he was so sleepy, he was like a drunk baby on milk! Then I got everything set up I had 4 different settings I wanted to do with my naked baby!  (I am also home alone) I get Ryan undressed and start taking pictures, I get a few shots, now we are ready for the next set, as I pick him up I realize he had poo poo on the blanket!  Then I clean him up and go to set him on the next set, he starts to pee on me!  Yikes!  So I clean up again, and set him down, take some pictures and he is waking up by now, and starts to pee again! So needless to say we were done taking pictures for the day, and I had a lot of laundry to do!

Baby Ava

First of all, Congratulations to Tommy and Brittney on their new addition to their family! We took pictures of baby Ava Williams at 15 days old, she is so tiny and so adorable! She was such a good baby girl, she makes me anxious for our own little man to come! We had a chance to get a lot of pictures of miss Ava, enjoy!

Cozad Family

This past weekend Jamie and I were able to make it up north to see my sister and family. The kids are all growing up so fast Sarah just turned 11 years old! So we helped celebrate with her as well. We had a chance to take some very fun shots of the family together and some great individuals.
